Database Connection Test Unsuccessful - jlholzbach - 10-17-2018 I am trying to set up UserSpice as I am exploring using for a project I am currently working on.  I have made it to the step where it asks for the database information. I know the information I am entering is correct because I was able to successfully create a database connection using the credentials in a PHP file.  I had been following the video on the home page and noticed one difference is that there is a space for entering a copyright message, which isn't in the video. Now that doesn't appear to be required field, but is there any chance this could be causing an error.  Also when I try to test the settings it display that it is importing the tables and to wait a moment will also displaying the database connection unsuccessful message at the bottom. Could it be possible there is a bug in the version I downloaded?  Is there an older version available somewhere that I could try to see if that works? RE: Database Connection Test Unsuccessful - mudmin - 10-17-2018 It's definitely not that. I'm wondering if it's your host. If you're using localhost, try 127.0.0.1 or vice versa
