forum spam

hey, i noticed your issue with forum spam, have you considered moving away from wordpress/bbpress and perhaps using a lesser known script? possibly something like a static bootstrap theme for all pages but forum, then use ticketing systems like osTicket which is bootstrap based itself. just a thought.

Hey, I wanted to create a topic about this forum but since you already started one...

I hate this forum.

1. No recent topics display
2. No sorting by recent post/unanswered/since last visit
3. No topic title on the top when you enter topic page
4. No breadcrumbs on the top
5. No search options
6. No input preview
7. No multi-line code, long code goes off the screen
8. Confusing tags: "i" gives "em", "b" gives "strong", "code" is grave accent
9. Reply button doesn't insert quote with author and link in the edit box
10. Formatting styles don't fit each other, blockqoute is large, list has a different font
11. Edit button vanishes
12. Last page (4) in the "Documentation" vanishes, displays "No topics were found here!"
13. My topic vanished
14. There was also another topic you couldn't access but it still showed up in recent replies

How about switching to something like phpBB or whatever

i think thats a little harsh.

It's my fault, I was being blocked as a spammer so mudmin removed the spam blocker so I could post more than once a week! But I do agree with faguss, this forum isn't very user friendly :/
