The verify email should have a option in the registration page too. Instead of being hidden in email. To be honest it is confusing the difference between it and 2factor until you play with it

It definitely has come up a lot, but the issue is that we can't allow you to require emails if you haven't configured and tested your email settings-we will try to do better in conveying this and where the option is, but we haven't seen an elegant replacement yet. You're welcome to submit a request to userspice.com/bugs.
