Welcome.

How would you anticipate this "automatic process" happens? How are we going to know who is a user and a manager? If you can tell the system this, sure, but if you can't, there isn't really a way...

You could build a verification page that the user has to enter a key to "Enroll" as a Manager and it adds the permission, but be cautious with this...
