Now this, is interesting! I could definitely see that discrepancy causing this issue...Gmail definitely is very strict with their filters, and sometimes if an email does bounce back-it doesn't go where it should (lands in Server Admins box for example). If I'm understanding correctly, it seems like you found a solution? Or still no? If not, I will do some more research for you, but I am glad you found some more information!

I'm trying the setting of the sender IP address in my domain's TXT DNS record, but need up to 48 hours for that to propagate before I can confirm if it worked...
