Backup System

Huge Kudos to user Firestorm for making the backup system!

The backup system will allow you to backup your database and files in UserSpice, through 5 different sources:

• Database & All Files
• Database & UserSpice Files
• Database Only
• UserSpice Files Only
• Single Table (you select when backing up)

When doing a backup, you can change your destination or leave it. Leaving it will put all of your backups in the root directory. Don't forget to include the trailing slash if you change it! Save Settings before backing up if you make any changes. Upon backing up, depending on the size of the backup being created, it can take a few seconds, a few minutes, or a few hours. Most commonly it will take about one minute for a general UserSpice installation with a decent amount of custom files.

You will be able to delete or download backups from this page, or directly from your directory if you wish. You can also incorporate auto-backups to your system using a Cron Manager designed by Brandin which is detailed here.
