Problems with installation

Hello,

I am having troubles installing UserSpice - I am following the video and somehow still managed to have problems with the installation.

First I had problems with the init.php file :


 
 I sorted it out when I edited the code in the file from:


TO:


But then this happened :



I checked a couple of times whether the database is set properly and if I got the detail corectly. Can someone tell me what could the problem be?

Have you gone through the installer before makin that modification?

The installer creates the init.php file after you test and save the settings.

Going to localhost/kits/install/ worked but then i encounter a new problem :






Why am I having troubles connecting with the database? I am sure I have entered the right names and details.

Your credentials are not correct if its unable to connect...
