  PHP 7.2
Posted by: tjones - 09-22-2018, 12:13 AM - Forum: UserSpice 4.3 and Below - Replies (2)

Anybody running the latest on PHP 7.2. I seem to be having lots of issues, mainly forced logouts. I can't add users manually or admin_page.php. No errors are being thrown so I am not sure where to even start. If it's just me, maybe ill start with a fresh install

  Only you can see this!
Posted by: shoropio - 09-21-2018, 04:40 PM - Forum: UserSpice 4.3 and Below - Replies (4)

I would like to add to my profile.php the possibility of changing visibility options with messages, for example: "Only you can see this". Another example would be that for example I have added additional fields such as phone number, address, web page, etc. There would be some way that for example the phone number field can decide if it is visible to the public or not visible in my profile.php. Hello world from Costa Rica.

  Multi Level Menu config
Posted by: Frankedinven - 09-21-2018, 11:01 AM - Forum: UserSpice 4.3 and Below - Replies (2)

Hi

I am trying to configure a menu tree:

HotSpot Mananger
    Hotel Kangerlussuaq
        Voucher Status

This seems possible in the Menu Manager where you can configure parent/child relationships at seemingly any level.
Screen clips attached.

Is this a bug or have I overlooked something?

thanks for any advice.

Frank

  timezone change
Posted by: W11B2349 - 09-20-2018, 05:03 AM - Forum: New to UserSpice? - Replies (1)

Hey, I installed UserSpice a few days ago, and I've been making pretty good progress with it. However when I first installed it I forgot to put in the correct time zone. is there a way to change what timezone it thinks it's in?

I thought it might be in 'Site Settings' under the admin dashboard, but no luck.

-Any help is appreciated. Big Grin

  Change Footer Height
Posted by: W11B2349 - 09-19-2018, 09:46 AM - Forum: Modifications and Hackery - Replies (2)

Currently the footer is relative to the height of the content on the page. I would like to change this so it's static.

I've tried going into the bootstrap CSS, as well as just going into ../usersc/includes/footer.php and making an inline style tag.

I tried
<style ="max-height: 50; vertical-align: bottom" ... and probably some other things as well, but none of it seemed to work. Any ideas on how to make the footer just a static 50px bar along the bottom?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

This function has the logger call in the wrong spot.  So its logging when someone is on both blacklist and whitelist (and therefore not banned) instead of when on blacklist only (banned).  Just FYI

  SQLite
Posted by: davelampe - 09-15-2018, 03:55 PM - Forum: Modifications and Hackery - Replies (2)

Has anyone tried tweaking UserSpice to run on SQLite instead of MySQL. I had a quick dabble just to change the PDO settings but it didn't work, and wondered if anyone else had had any luck before I tried again?

  Customizing files
Posted by: Rob360 - 09-14-2018, 05:05 PM - Forum: UserSpice 4.3 and Below - Replies (1)

Hi everyone,
Just new to US and happy so far.
Some questions about editing files as the documentation is not 100% clear on this:

1. I understand I have to copy a file into the usersc folder in order to edit it. Does this count for files in the root folder as well (eg. index.php?), or is it just for files in the users folder?
2. If I copy eg. users/admin_user.php into the usersc folder, will the navigation to that page automatically redirect to the custom file in the usersc folder?
3. Does the entire users folder need to stay unedited? i.e. if I want to edit any of the files (even the ones in the api folder), would I have to copy them into the usersc folder and edit them there?

Cheers,
Rob

  Slow response time?
Posted by: erik - 09-14-2018, 08:59 AM - Forum: UserSpice 4.3 and Below - Replies (1)

Hi!
I’m running a small application for timekeeping with userspice for the backend part of it.
However, I have a real slow performance from the system. Response time for a page is like 5-6 seconds. It’s both for my own pages, as well as the userspice admin pages. App is running in Azure cloud. Any idea where to start to analyze this?
/Erik

I am continuously receiving the " Please check the reCaptcha" message on my login and registration page.  I cannot find where to check the reCaptcha.  I am using the Invisible reCAPTCHA site type and i have updated the keys in US4.3 and yes, i have checked to make sure the keys are correct.
